We were thrilled to receive a fantastic donation of goodies from two of our pupils recently.  Reuben and Felicity have used their time during lockdown to raise money for NHS and other key workers.  They started by selling sunflower seeds but then expanded their enterprise with a generous donation from Dobbies Garden Centre.  The children raised a huge £1300 in total which they used to make donations to Sunderland Royal Cancer Care unit, the Maternity unit, St. Benedicts hospice, Tyne and Wear Fire Service, the Ambulance service, Whitburn Doctors, Whitburn Pharmacy and our school.  Everybody at the school would like to say a huge thank you and well done to Reuben and Felicity and their family for thinking of us and others at this time.  We are so proud of both of them.
